AMAZONS AND SLAVES – TEAM EPONATA
Amazons on horseback and slaves will welcome you upon your arrival in Elfia.
The fearless amazons on their horses and their companions of Team Eponata can't miss an edition of the EFF. In the morning the amazons and their slaves will welcome you on the parking lot. A special for kids: you can take a picture sitting on a horse and beside an amazon or slave. Apart from that they will take part in the Defilé for the new King and/or Queen. During the day you might encounter them anywhere in Elfia. And of course they will see you out again; this they will do together with the Friesenteam Rheingold, at the end of the Saturday evening.

FACEPAINT IN PROGRESS PRESENTS:

PETER AND PETRA TRONSER
After Peter had won the 2008 World Championshop in the category Special Effects Make-Up he can add the 2010 title to his name as well. He competed against highly acclaimed, international competitors. During the same World Championship his wife Petra Tronser won, together with good friend Ferdi Schmid from Switzerland, the title World Champion in the category Fluo Bodypainting.
Their greatest success was the face that they won the first place at the Maskerade in Venlo (Netherlands) three times in a row, in the category Special Effects. They won this title 2005 - 2007. The Maskerade is regarded as a kind of European Championship. Peter and Petra have also been on the German TV several times, showing their speciality: Bodypainting.

ENRICO LEIN
In 2002 Enrico becom World Champion SFX Bodypainting. He learn the SFX from several Hollywood SFX make-up artist and he learned from Kryolan. In 2006 Enrico was hailed Artist of the Year. Prior to the World Championship Football 2010 Enrico, aided by Janny Cierpka, gave the players of the German national team a bodypaint; which was a promotion stunt of the magazine Der Sport-Bild.
 

JACKLYN SUISKENS
Jacklyn originally started her career as a facepainter before in 2006 she decided to try her hand at bodypainting. In 2007 she came in third place at the Maskerade in Venlo, in the category SFX Bodypaint. In 2008 she came in third again at the Maskerade, althought this time she worked together with her son Jurriën, who was only fourteen years old at that time. During the World Championship 2008 in Seeboden won 5th place in the category SFX Facepaint.
In 2009 Jacklyn won second place at the Maskerade; in the category SFX, working again with her son Jurriën. At the same event she came in third place in the discipline Bellypainting (painting pregnancy bellies). Jacklyn, Jurriën and Joyce Ramakers will offer (for a small fee) facepaints, temporary tattoos and bellypaints as well as giving demonstrations bodypaint.

TO BODYPAINT A CENTAUR
How does one create a centaur? It sounds very difficult to give life to a mythological creature that is half-man and half-horse...however bodypaint artists Enrico Lein (Ger) and Jacklyn Suiskens (Bel) are able to accomplish this feat. No bloody surgery, only paint, plastic parts and special effects. They actually will transform their male model into a unicorn-centaur, a half man/half unicorn.

STAN IANEVSKI - BULGARIA'S MOST FAMOUS ACTOR 
Adventure has been part of actor Stan Ianevski's life since birth. As a young child he moved to different countries with his parents. The greatest adventure of his life up till then began when he was selected to play the part of Viktor Krum in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and this was the start of his acting career. Early 2009 he was asked to return as Viktor Krum in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He returned on set to play the somewhat more grown-up Bulgarian champion. You can witness his appearances at the end of this year when 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I' will be released. As the most famous actor in his homeland Bulgaria Stan sometimes appears on television with his Elfia's Ambassador & Brotherhood Badges. He is looking forward to present the Personathlon at EFF, the famous costume competition. 

Stan will give a Q&A on both days and afterwards he will do a signing session. Be sure that you see this great actor up close and personal.

THE ROLY SHOW
In the Roly Show Professor Rotherham is the host of the talkshow that is named after him. He will receive a number of VIP guests that are attending the Elf Fantasy Fair and will talk with them in a way that only Roly can. The Roly Show had its debut at the last Elf Fantasy Fair Haarzuilens and was an instant success.

THE AMAZING FRISIAN HORSES OF FRIESENTEAM RHEINGOLD
Be guided by the fairy lights... the horses and riders of the Friesenteam Rheingold will bring you some magical acts. Their beautiful shows in the afternoon sunlight are a feast for your eyes but you'll be amazed when you 'see' them in the evening.

They perform a show in the afternoon, they take part in the Royal Defilé and on Saturday evening they will present their 'Feenlichtershow' together with Team Eponata and lead your way out of Elfia.

"We are known for our love for Frisian horses and we would like to bring this lovely breed of horses closer to the people. These Dutch, Baroque horses will enchant you with their long, waving mane; they will enthrall you with their deep black colour and they will fascinate you with their gentle and humane character. You may take our motto – dream horses to touch – literally." Their repertoire includes a mystical lightshow, which has been performed with succes at two editions of the Elf Fantasy Fair.

FLINTS BUCCANEERS
As reenactment group from the area around Köln, Germany, they focus on showing how pirate life and the Royal Navy of the 18th Century looked like. They will display what outfits, uniforms and equipments people had in that time and how the pirates fought. They will take you time travelling to the era of the pirates.

BERGISCHES RITTERLAGER
The Bergisches Ritterlager is a medieval reenactmentgroup from Germany that displays how people in the 13th century might have lived. It is their goal to interpret the 13th century-life as credible as possible – without forgetting the humour. That is why can celebrate during a feast with plenty of joy but also with a serious note about it. A piece of history to experience and to take part in.

FELLOW-SHIP
In 2009 and 2010 the members of Fellow-Ship have treated the visitors of the Elf Fantasy Fair to the festivities around the 111th birthday of Bilbo Baggins. For the Arcen edition they have got something special planned as well; they don't want to tell too much right now but elves will play a big part in it.

ALIEN VS PREDATOR
Dive into the world of Alien vs. Predator. They lurk around, everywhere in Elfia; waiting to grab you. However, there are also rescuers around that can save you from the clutches of these creatures. Apart from the alien you can also meet Ripley as well as the Spacemarines; who will protect you and the rest of human kind from the aliens. And...you might also bump into the archnemesis of the aliens: the Predator.

STAR WARS GARRISONS
Almost everybody knows Star Wars. Since the first movie came out in 1977 the movie has generated lots of fans and collectors. The world of Star Wars has grown and doesn't consist only of the movie franchise anymore. Star Wars is still alive after 30 years and the world-wide fanclub Fighting 501st proves this – they have 4000 members. In Holland the 501st is represented by the Dutch Garrison and has more than 30 members. They will also be accompanied by members of other European Garrisons. At the Elf Fantasy Fair Arcen you stand the chance to be arrested by stormtroopers and to stand trial for Darth Vader.

THE RETURN OF THE NOMMO - GeA educatie & fantasy
An ancient creature return to earth and to Elfia! A creature; half man, half fish...do you dare to look him in the eye?

During one of their travels GeA-educatie&fantasy visited the Dogon, a tribe that lives in the Bandiagara-valley, to the south-east of Timbuktu in Mali. The fairytale-like valley guards a big secret. After the initiation of the Djin-Na; the house of spirits in which the village eldest lives as well, one is initiated into the ancient knowledge. The Hogon, the highpriest, told them about Pol tolo; the dwarfstar and the big star Sigi Tolo (we know this star as Sirius). He also told them about Nyan Tolo, a planet which circles around Sirius and from where humans supposedly originate from.

On Nyan Tolo the Nommo live, these are supernatural creatures. Once, a long time ago, they came to planet earth and became the missing link in the history of civilisation. These water creatures lived both in water as well as on land; they were half man, half fish. In the ancient Mesopotamia they were immortalised in low reliefs. A few good examples can be seen in the Parisian Louvre. The Dogon prophesised the return of the Nommo on earth. It will tell you about life and death and will ensure world peace. The time is near! During the Elf Fantasy Fair Arcen 2010 the Nommo will reappear in full glory, in the waters of the Castlegardens Arcen. The amphibic being cannot do a long time without water. He is about four metres long and he can swim as well as welk. His auburn, wild, long manes crown his dark gaze. Who dares to look into those eyes? Or dare to touch his long, slippery tail? Or clasp his big hands? All we can show you now is a secret clay-tablet that GeA-educatie was allowed to make a picture of. His true form will remain a mystery a bit longer.

DESMUMHNACH
Taste the late iron age; let your imagination run free and witness the Celtic life.
Visit the camp of Desmumhnach in the Dragon's Lair and observe the activites of a Celtic reenactment camp. You can take a look at Celtic farming and celtic cooking. Meet ordinary men and woman as well as kings, warriors, farmers and slaves. Come wacht the fight demonstrations (on the location Elysium); pose your questions and witness the every day Celtic life.
Desmumhnach is a society that wishes to preserve the Celtic culture by means of living history. They try to accomplish this by telling captivating tales, demonstrating fightsimulations and animation for the young as well as the old. You are more than welcome in the camp of the Desmumhnach tribe.
